How to edit

This shows you how you can edit sites by yourself:

  • Either use the help section of Wikidot.com:

Documentation
Wiki Syntax
Solutions

or

  • Follow these steps:

1. Create a Wikidot.com account or use the "anonymous edit" function, then search the site for content you want to add to avoid duplicates.

2. Before adding a site check the counter on the start page. If, for example, the counter states 239 entries, name your site one digit higher and add a zero in front. In this case this would be "0240".
The first step now is to add a new site named "0240". This is easily done by typing the following into the browsers address window: "http://db.e-voting.cc/0240". You will be asked if you want to add this site, just click yes.

To add information scroll to the end of the site. You will find an edit button on the left of the bottom menu.

3. Edit the site and fill in your data into our tables between the || parallel lines || or use the editor.

4. If you added a new site or a table: Please select a short and descriptive name (max. 2 words), add your content resume service and save the site. You can always use the review button to test before saving your changes.

5. Set the parent of the site according to our site structure we used in order to add "bread crumb" navigation to the top. e.g. Welcome » Europe » UK » 0229. Do this by clicking on the "+ options" button below on the right and choose "parent" and set parent to UK, in this case.

6. On the Overview site for each country, please fill in the name of the election and the date of the election in the format essay writers: Month, Year. e.g. "Wiki Parliamentary Elections, May 2007"
